In late 2021, Captain Curtis Adam was scouring the boat market in search of the perfect small group charter boat. Knowing "perfect" was a term to be used with caution, this search was more for a boat with the best potential. He carefully sorted through the vast amount of listings and the vision became clear, he wanted a picnic boat.

Originally hailing from Sebasco Harbor just outside Phippsburg, ME, Tabasco is a 32 foot Wasque (way-squee) powerboat, built in Martha's Vineyard in 1973. She sported a large aft deck, a covered pilothouse, and all the potential Curtis was looking for. She was the one.
Before starting her new life in Newport, Tabasco underwent some needed upgrades. Most importantly, the addition of the large aft bench our guests enjoy relaxing on today. A few mechanical and cosmetic upgrades later, Tabasco was launched on May 24, 2022.

Now a full time Newport resident, Tabasco is a head turner with her classic styling and modern amenities. She sports ample deck space which we like to call her "flex space." With the large aft lounging bench, moveable deck chairs, & table, it is the perfect space for serving both charcuterie boards as well as showing off your best dance moves. She has a full audio system with Bluetooth connectivity to make sure the mood is set or the tunes are pumping.

at The Lobster Restaurant
When you arrive downtown Newport, navigate towards Bowens Wharf. Bowens' has many shops, restaurants, and boat tours. The best reference points to look for are 22 Bowens restaurant and The Landing restaurant. Once near either 22 Bowens or The Landing (They're adjacent to each other), walk past The Landing, towards the harbor. Ahead of you will be the Lobster Bar. Walk past the statue of the lobsterman, Ronnie Fatulli, and proceed up the small set of stairs. There is also a ramp to the left of the statue. At the top of the steps on the right, you will see a small Sea Newport sign. Turn right to follow the sign through the small passageway. Directly ahead will be the ramp down to Tabasco's dock.

When you arrive, we politely ask for you to wait on the dock directly in front of the boat, until a crew member invites you aboard.
